I made a bunch of these burgers for my incoming houseguests, and they absolutely loved them. Then, I posted a photo on this site, and I had a bunch of folks ask me to post the recipe. I honestly think that this is one amazing burger; however, you must follow the recipe as written. Since I did not intend to post this recipe, I am shy on photos, but the images I do have speak for themselves. So yummy. So, you ready… Let’s get into the kitchen.

Number Of Ingredients 14

PLAN/PURCHASE
3 ounce(s) ground buffalo
1 medium slider bun, recipe to follow
1 teaspoon(s) mayonnaise, plain variety
3 - 4 - pieces of frisée (curly endive), or other lettuce
1 tablespoon(s) andy’s spicy beef/pork sauce, recipe to follow
1 slice(s) fresh tomato
2 teaspoon(s) yellow mustard, or to taste
- salt, kosher variety, fine grind, to taste
- black pepper, freshly ground, to taste
OPTIONAL ITEMS
- melty, gooey cheese
- sautéed onions
- dill pickle slices

Steps:

  • PREP/PREPARE
  • I have not tried this recipe using regular ground beef; however, if I did, I would select something like ground chuck.
  • You can use store-bought or homemade sliders.   • Gather your Ingredients (mise en place).
  • Take the ground buffalo, and shape it into a patty, slightly larger than your bun (there will be some shrinkage during the cooking process). Sprinkle both sides with some salt and pepper, and throw into a hot pan (you should hear a nice satisfying sizzle). After a few minutes, flip the burger, and cook for another minute or two.
  • Chef’s Note: If you are adding cheese, do that now.
  • Cut the bun in half, and add the mayo to the cut side of the bottom half. Add the yellow mustard to the cut side of the top half. Add enough lettuce to cover the bottom of the bun. Add Andy’s spicy beef/pork sauce.
  • Add a slice of nice fresh tomato.
  • Add the burger, with the sautéed onions, and pickles (if using).
  • PLATE/PRESENT
  • Serve with chips, fries… whatever suits your fancy. Enjoy.

1 lb lean ground beef
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon celery salt
1/4 teaspoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano, crushed
1/4 cup barbecue sauce, your favorite
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons yellow mustard or 2 tablespoons dijon-style mustard
4 hamburger buns

Steps:

  • Combine ground beef, barbeque and Worcestershire sauces, mustard and seasonings, mix well.
  • Form into 4 patties.
  • Grill on barbeque or cook over medium heat.

11/05/2020 · Form 6 good sized burger patties. If you have a ring mould this becomes a bit easier, if not just form regular patties by hand. If you have the moulds, lay the proper size down on a piece of parchment paper and and spoon in the mixture. Remove ring. Place all of the burgers in the fridge for 15 mins or so to allow them to firm up.

24/12/2020 · GRILLED HAMBURGER RECIPES INSTRUCTIONS. First of all Combine bacon, onion, cheddar cheese and set aside. Combine beef, spike and beer, mix thoroughly, the shape into 6 thin patties. Put bacon/onion/cheese mixture on 3 patties. Top with remaining patties and press edges to seal. Grill, broil or pan fry until well done, about 4 minutes per side.
