Measurements & Abbreviations | Just A Pinch Recipes image

This breakdown of measurements will help you with your cooking and baking when interpreting the difference between grams, teaspoons and more. It has been a helpful resource that I have needed from time to time. The measuring guide is something I never remember right off the top of my head and is posted inside my spice cabinet door for reference.

ABBREVIATIONS FOR COOKING MEASUREMENTS | LEAFTV
Jun 11, 2011 · 1 quart = 1 qt. These abbreviations are relatively easy to decipher because they are closely related to the complete words. Both “grams” and “gallons” start with a “g,” but it’s hard to imagine confusing them in a recipe because a gallon is so much larger than a gram. When in doubt, use common sense.
