- Heat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour two 9-inch cake pans.
- In a large bowl, mix the dry cake mix with the root beer soda. Beat with a mixer on low speed for two minutes.
- Scrap down the bowl, and divide the batter between the two cake pans. Bake for 24 to 29 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted into the center of the cake.
