The best fudge recipe ever!! Mom's Mom's Mom recipe, have never known it to fail.

2 cup(s) sugar
1 cup(s) water or milk
2 tablespoon(s) cocoa powder
1 teaspoon(s) butter
1 teaspoon(s) vanilla extract
1 cup(s) nuts if wanted

Steps:

  • boil sugar, water or milk, and coco.together slowly until forms a soft ball in a cup of water.
  • butter a platter. if nuts are wanted sprinkle over the buttered platter.
  • after pasting the test for soft ball add butter take off stove let cool a little then add vanilla and beat. pour over the platter.
