I made this one year for my dog and she ate it all up. The honey is optional, but it makes it sweeter for the dog...and yes, I tried some. It's pretty good.

Number Of Ingredients 8

Ingredients

1 egg
¼ cup peanut butter
¼ cup cooking oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
⅓ cup honey
1 cup shredded carrots
1 cup whole wheat or white flour
1 teaspoon baking soda

Steps:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 6 cup ring mold.
Combine the egg, peanut butter, oil, vanilla, and honey, if desired, in a large bowl; blend well. Stir in the carrots and mix thoroughly. Sift together the flour and baking soda and fold into the carrot mixture. Spoon cake batter into prepared pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 40 minutes. Let cake cool in pan for 10 minutes; then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely.

This is a fun recipe for a tuna fish birthday cake you can make for your favorite cat!

Ingredients

cooking spray
1 (6 ounce) can tuna, drained
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 egg white
⅛ teaspoon shredded mild Cheddar cheese
4 medium (blank)s peeled, cooked shrimp

Steps:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spray 2 muffin tin cups with cooking spray.
Combine tuna, flour, egg white, and Cheddar cheese in a bowl. Fill prepared muffin cups equally with mixture.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Cool in the tin for 5 minutes. Invert onto a wire rack to cool completely.
Garnish cakes with shrimp.
