I’m going to go over the ten most common bad habits that make you gain weight. Habit #1: Emotional Eating

Emotional eating is a very common habit in our society. When you go through a breakup, it’s not uncommon to wallow in your sorrow and eat a tub of ice cream. We’ve seen it in media and in real life. Instead of letting your emotions get the best of you, take a nice, long, calming walk to ease your nerves and get some fresh air. It will settle your mind, help you stay active, and distract you from eating your feelings away.

When people are bored, they tend to get snack. Mindlessly eating when you’re not really hungry isn’t a good habit at all, however, and can lead to unnecessary weight gain. Instead, try chewing sugar-free gum or going for a nice walk when boredom tries to strike you down.
